Feed Analysis Analyzes Your FeedBurner Feeds

The number of subscribers is very useful for bloggers to determine the popularity of their blogs. Yet, blogger like me may hope that the FeedBurner stats can tell us how fruitful our effort results without much analytical calculation on our own. As such, I developed Feed Analysis v1.0 which can provide bloggers, with the aid of beautiful interactive charts, a more detailed report and analysis from our feeds.

By the use of Feed Analysis, the number of subscribers for each month is neatly shown on the column chart. You can also view the number of subscribers, hits, views and clicks for every single day from the line chart. Of course, the best/worst day of the week is also available which is displayed on the pie chart. Feed Analysis can analyze FeedBurner feeds in no time.

Feed Analysis may not be complete and perfect at the moment because it is in an early stage. We need your opinions and suggestions so that Feed Analysis can evolve to provide more accurate stats and prediction. Any suggestions and opinions are welcome. If you have amazing formulas, please feel free to leave a comment or contact us directly.

Keep Track of Sitepoint Websites Selling

Selling blogs is getting more and more popular these days. If you have an established and professional blog, it can be sold for few thousands of dollars easily. Many people value a site based on multiples of income. I have seen blogs sold for 12x monthly to 35x monthly income. So a site that makes $100/month could easily achieve $1200 - $2400. If you can spot a potential blog and buy it with a low price, you can earn money quickly by selling it with a decent price after little monetization.

Sitepoint Marketplace is an indispensable website trading point for people who are involved in buying and selling of websites. Yet, you may not be fully aware of the different auction categories without an effort. Now the author of Sitepoint Watch would like to share this tool to enhance website flipping in a more presentable effortless way. Just simply type in the FeedBurner Feeds name, e.g. Mashable, or the URL of the FeedBurner Feeds (http://feeds.feedburner.com/BlogPerfume). Technorati Authority and Links Chart for Your Blog

We love Technorati Stats tools. Many of bloggers might know them already, but we think we should mention it on BlogPerfume once just in case someone has missed them.We always see which blogs are linking to BlogPerfume by checking our Technorati Authority.

Technorati Authority is the number of blogs linking to a website in the last six months. It is important to note that they measure the number of blogs, rather than the number of links. So, if a blog links to your blog many times, it still only count as +1 toward your authority.

You can check your Technorati with the following URL.

You can always check the number of posts by day about your blog in a period of time easily on a Technorati Chart as well.

  • technorati.com/chartimg?q=YourBlogURL&days=3600&width=460&height=200&type=url

Just simply change the YourBlogURL to your blog address (without http://). You can also specify the days, width and height as well. How many links have you got? What is your Technorati Authority?

Feed Analysis Now Supports Migrated Google Feeds

Google has acquired Feedburner in 2007, and they have started migrating the feeds hosted on Feedburner to Google’s servers recently. Google also announced that they expect to get all the feeds transferred by February 28, and they mentioned that after that day Feedburner feeds will start reporting a 404. So most of us should have already migrated our feed to Google’s servers.

Because of the migiration, Google has released a new API for the feed stats which makes our Feed Analysis does not work properly. Therefore, we have decided using the new API for Feed Analysis, which makes migrated feeds work properly. However, if you have not migrate your feeds to Google’s servers, Feed Analysis will no longer work for you, please do the migration as soon as possible. Go and analysis your Google feeds now.

ShoeMoney - Skills to Pay the Bills

shoemoney.png

ShoeMoney Media Group entered the ring tone market early, captured traffic and has monetized it. Finding angles and exploiting them for profit is a key aspect of SMG. Maximum and diverse revenue streams are built on fairly narrow marketing concepts that are then diversified. This is what Jeremy Schoemaker calls, “The Coke Theory. If you are already making Coke then you can make Diet Coke, Cherry Coke, etc and turn a profit on those as well. A company can achieve growth through small degrees of separation bet
ween sites, maximizing diversity within a small industry.

From the beginning of SMG, Schoemaker focused on the aspects of marketing that were second nature to him. He built his sites on those natural marketing principles while running the backend. Web design was a secondary skill, so he focused on the marketing of the sites, which then built revenue. Later he would invest in a professionally done design. Schoemaker continues to focus on existing sites and expand their income potential by building a network of sites centered on a central theme. Again, the “Coke Theory.

You will find lots of excellent marketing tips from ShoeMoney. You can see that ShoeMoney has attracted over 13000 subscribers. I am sure you can gain a lot form reading ShoeMoney.

Search Engine Roundtable - Reports SEM Forums

The purpose behind the Search Engine Roundtable is to report on the most interesting threads taking place at the SEM (Search Engine Marketing) forums. By enlisting some of the most recognized names at those forums, the Roundtable is able to not only report on these outstanding threads but also provide a synopsis that provides greater detail into those threads.

In addition, all authors have the leeway to step beyond forum coverage and either take a thread topic and expand on it or bring up a concept that was not found at a thread. They occasionally have some guest authors post on specialized topics in the search engine marketing field. Very rarely will you find posts here that are not related to SEM.

The mission of the site is to provide a single source for the reader to visit to locate the most interesting threads covered at the SEM forums. This will help you save valuable time clicking through the forum threads to find the true gems. In addition, most people are only active in one or two forums - this will allow for comparative advantage to take place between the major forums.

CopyBlogger - Copywriting Tips for Blogging

copyblogger.png

Copywriting is the process of writing words that promote a person, business, opinion, or idea, with the ultimate intention of having the reader take some form of action. Even if that action is a link, bookmark, or a vote at Digg that leads to the traffic you need. In other words, copywriting is all about people responding the way you want them to.

Good blogging and good copy share many of the same attributes — plain spoken words designed to focus on the needs of the reader by using stories, education and a clear demonstration of benefit and value. In an overly-crowded marketplace, copywriting allows you to catch people’s attention, and smart blogging allows you to capitalize on that attention by building trust, sales and profits.

Join CopyBlogger with other 27,000+ subscribers for the fascinating opportunities that continue to develop with blogging and other online marketing strategies.
